Background: Climate Change

Climate change is indeed a natural phenomenon. It naturally occurs within certain normal ranges of temperatuers and time. Over the millenia, the climate has changed many times constantly slowly in gentle flux. The earth has experienced many "Ice Ages". These ages, however come and go slowly with plenty of time to allow organisms to adapt to the new conditions. The scientists at NASA and the environmental departments of the academic world have tracked this extensively. The ice caps keep this record of changes over the years. Rock crystals have kept the record of the magnetic shifts over the millenia. There have been many ice ages which have left traces in the geological record. The natural cycles allow plenty of time for organisms to adapt over many generations to the new temperature range, whether hotter or colder.
